Sinterniklaas Anime Boston is most excited to welcome back Michael Sinterniklaas. An 18 year veteran of the Anime industry, Michael founded the recording studio NYAV Post LLC in 2000 which now has facilities in both New York and Los Angeles.

Sinterniklaas has been busy at work this year recording Funshie in the new CARE BEARS series airing soon on the Hub, as well as NARUTO, BLEACH, BAKUMAN, animated feature films ZAMBEZIA with Samuel L. Jackson and WELCOME TO THE SPACE SHOW as well as the new Marvel Anime series X-MEN, BLADE and IRON MAN, Capcom’s RESIDENT EVIL: REVELATIONS and is just starting to record THE VENTURE BROS season five in which he plays Dean Venture (the smart one)!

On the other side of the mic, Michael has been busy directing a new PETER RABBIT series for Nickelodeon, CAT IN PARIS which was nominated for a best animated feature Oscar this year and a yet to be announced new fantasy series...

Other recent credits include: ROBOTOMY staring Patton Oswalt, Lewis Black, Eliza Dushku, Gilbert Gottfried, Lil Jon, Lisa Lampanelli, SPEED RACER for Cartoon Network and the feature film MIA AND THE MIGOO with John DiMaggio, Whoopi Goldberg, James Woods, Matthew Modine and Wallace Shawn.

In the world of anime, Michael starred as Kenji in the feature film SUMMER WARS and has been directing Sunrise’s new hit GUNDAM UNICORN. Other roles include Sasuke Sarutobi in SENGOKU BASARA, in EDEN OF THE EAST and producing and acting in Funimation’s two new SLAYERS series in the role of Xellos and Viz Media’s MONSTER. His game credits include BASARA and FINAL FANTASY XIII in which he voiced the final boss, Orphan. Other voice work include TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, G.I. JOE, KAPPA MIKEY, YUGIOH, SHAMAN KING, FREEDOM, FULL METAL ALCHEMIST, THE SKY CRAWLERS, GAO GAI GAR, KUROKAMI, POKEMON, SAMURAI 7, D GREY-MAN, BERSERK, MUSHI SHI, BURST ANGEL, MAGIC USERS CLUB, JUNGLE EMPEROR LEO and GLASS FLEET to name a few.

In the realm of live action, Michael lent his voice to the Russian blockbuster THE BLACK LIGHTNING as the lead Dima, and getting out of the booth for a stint, Michael got in front of the camera to shoot the feature film ANSWER THIS and is preparing for a new film by working on his guitar chops and growing his hair to never before seen lengths!
