Stepmania Workshop: Anime Music, Pretty Arrows, and You
Hosted by QED
Ever play DDR and wish there was more anime music? Wish no more; with Stepmania, a free DDR simulator, you can create your own files for any anime song you wish and play them just as if you were playing them in DDR! Stepmania is a free rhythm game based on DDR that gives players a chance to interact with their favorite songs. Anime music is perfect for Stepmania, and the process of creating your own playable Stepmania file for your favorite anime tune is quite simple. In this panel/workshop, you will learn the basics of writing a file from scratch for anime music in Stepmania, and will be given a chance to write your own file. The panel/workshop will be led by QED, a seasoned Stepmania file creator who specializes in anime files. By the end of the workshop, you will know enough to make quality anime stepfiles, and will soon be on your way to having fun with anime music in ways you never thought possible! Note: To participate in this workshop, you will need to bring a laptop (PC, Mac, or Linux are all acceptable). All other necessary materials will be provided.
