Senior Volunteer Wrangler
The Senior Volunteer Wrangler is a senior member of the Volunteers Staff Team and helps to ensure that all goes well in the very busy Volunteer Department. The duties of Wranglers are as follows: supervises the volunteers throughout the convention, manages the volunteer roster and database which includes new registration, checking-in, and checking-out of volunteers, enforcing hour requirements, manages volunteer requests during the convention, are main key holders and serve as escorts for volunteer crash space, and most importantly, makes sure volunteers and attendees are having fun. Excellent people skills are a must, mild Microsoft Excel and Word skills are necessary. Senior Volunteer Wranglers assist in the supervision of all Junior Volunteer Wranglers, reports directly to the Volunteer Manager, serve under the jurisdiction of the Operations Division. Most Wranglers work about 50 hours during the convention and performs various assignments throughout the year.All staff members are also required to adhere to the Staff Guidelines.
